Ronald Koeman assumiu o desejo de contratar o médio do Liverpool numa entrevista a um canal holandês
O treinador do Barcelona, Ronald Koeman, pretendeu reforçar o plantel blaugurana com o centrocampista holandês Georginio Wijnaldum, atual jogador do campeão europeu Liverpool, que orientou durante a passagem pelo cargo de selecionador da seleção da Holanda.
"Wijnaldum estava na minha lista [de reforços]", revelou o técnico blaugrana durante uma entrevista recente ao canal holandês NOS, na qual também expressou o desejo de transferir Memphis Depay, avançado do Lyon, para Camp Nou. "Espero que tenhamos um segundo holandês no plantel", vaticinou ainda Koeman, que estava confiante na contratação do extremo.
Todavia, e já com o período de transferências encerrado, Ronald Koeman não viu nenhum dos dois desejos (Wijnaldum e Depay) atendidos pela administração do Barcelona devido a dificuldades económicas e financeiras do clube.
Tanto Georginio Wijnaldum como Memphis Depay estão em final de contrato com o Liverpool e o Lyon, respetivamente.
